“… Music lovers probably have not expected such a concert. The mastery and great passion that the young and extremely talented musicians, Michał Bryła and Filip Wałcerz have shown performing the inauguration concert of the Nowa Sól Autumn of Art exceeded all expectations. It should be not surprising, since both, despite their young age, are already awarded musicians. The pianist, Filip Walcerz won, among other awards, the main prize in the VI Young Performers XX and XXI Century Music Competition. The violinist, Michał Bryła, the prime minister’s scholarship holder, may take pride in winning such awards as the I Prize in the Johannes Brahms International Viola Competition in Austrian Portchach, or the I prize in the Eugenia Umińska All-Polish Young Violinists’ Competition in Poznań. But their interpretation of the “Sonata” by Dymitr Szostakowicz is incredibly moving. Both gentlemen made us feel the beauty and drama enchanted in the notes which were left as a musical testament by D. Szostakowicz while dying in 1975. The moving “Sonata”, written with the remaining strengths of the composer, sounded thrilling. A great round of applause for the very young instrumentalists who allowed us to experience this…” Krąg Weekly Magazine
“…(Michał Bryła)… Won the VII Jan Rakowski All-Polish Competition in Poznań yesterday and was the only participant from Poznań who made it to the finals. He also outpaced the remaining laureates, since the jury did not award a second prize… Gazeta Wyborcza
“…Bryła is barely 18 years old and evokes high hopes. The two III prizes are a result of the scoring, but I am sure that such a departure from Michał Bryła’s talent is true…” prof.Stefan Kamasa
Głos Wielkopolski "...Incredibly pleasing to the ears of the audience..."
“… His playing is supplemented by great talent; it has all the best characteristics of violist art: beautiful and firm sound, ideal intonation, clear and perfect technique and, what is most important, a great artistic personality which nature has gifted with extraordinary temperament and a deep sense of musical culture…” prof.Stefan Kamasa
“… Michał Bryła has a very beautiful sound, great technique and enormous creative capabilities. It is very satisfying to observe the great artistic development of this violinist…” prof.Jadwiga Kaliszewska Magazyn Lubuski
“… He plays coherently and with flair for an hour, as if in a trance, which is why the audience left the hall convinced that there are no greater composers than the Szarwenka – and there most definitely are no better artists than Poznań dwellers…” Ruch Muzyczny
“…Michał Bryła performed the viola concert by Krzysztof Penderecki in a masterful manner when it comes to technique and expression…” Peter Buske Nordkurier, Kultur und Freizeit

"Meccorre String Quartet presented an extremely high level of interpretation of quartets by two remarkable composers. It was apparent during the concert that the group feels at home with the chosen repertoire. The freshness, the fluency, the dynamic! The perfect articulation and intonation of every part’s performance made a very large impression. It was reflected in the focus and later the loud ovations of the audience and their subsequent pleads for an encore. A splendid concert; it is difficult to imagine a better finale for the Music Days in Gorzów."
